Synopsis
Murder in Three Acts (1986) is an Agatha Christie TV mystery you can watch online on iFILM, with Peter Ustinov reprising his role as Hercule Poirot. The setting is Acapulco — a lavish cliffside party, elegant guests, cocktails in the sun — and then one of the guests dies at the table. At first glance, natural causes.
Then it happens again. A second gathering, most of the same faces, another body. Tony Curtis plays the charming host at the centre of both events, surrounded by people with money, secrets and well-constructed alibis. Ustinov's Poirot is deliberately unhurried — he doesn't grandstand; he watches, files things away, and surprises you when he finally moves. Directed by Gary Nelson, the film leans into its Mexican resort backdrop, which gives the whole thing a sun-drenched unease that a drawing-room setting wouldn't. A solid Christie adaptation for fans of the classic detective formula.
