Synopsis

Young King Ahmad is tricked by his scheming vizier Jaffar — played with icy menace by Conrad Veidt — stripped of his sight and his throne. Their quest to reclaim the kingdom and win back a princess takes them through flying horses, giant spiders, and genies trapped in bottles on ocean floors. Magic here is genuinely threatening, not decorative.
