Mills takes a long-haul flight to pay for his sick daughter's treatment. An asteroid field shreds his ship, and he crashes on an unknown world. He lives. Then the gut-punch lands: this is Earth, 65 million years before us, and the wildlife has teeth. To reach the escape vessel, two strangers have to cross jungle, swamp and a night where every rustle could be the last sound either of them hears.
