Miami Vice (Seasons 1–5)

Miami Vice (1984) is a landmark NBC crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Don Johnson plays undercover detective Sonny Crockett; Philip Michael Thomas is his New York partner Ricardo Tubbs. Together they work the vice squad in a city drowning in cocaine money and neon light.

The show made the linen blazer and no-shirt combo into a uniform. Crockett lives on a sailboat with a pet alligator; Tubbs came south to avenge his murdered brother and never left. Their cases blur the line between cop and criminal — week after week, deal after deal. Edward James Olmos rounds out the core cast as the stone-faced Lieutenant Castillo.
