Synopsis
Straight Outta Compton (2015) is a music biopic from director F. Gary Gray that you can watch online on iFILM. It follows five kids from a rough corner of Los Angeles who built the group N.W.A and forced an entire country to listen.
The setting is Compton in the late 1980s. With nothing but raw lyrics and hard beats, the crew turns frustration over poverty and police harassment into chart-smashing records. Their manager Jerry Heller, played by Paul Giamatti, brings money and contracts that slowly tear the friends apart.
