Be Cool

Be Cool (2005) is a crime comedy from director F. Gary Gray that you can watch online on iFILM. John Travolta returns as Chili Palmer, the ex-mobster turned producer from Get Shorty. Bored with the movie racket, he muscles his way into the music business instead.

After a producer pal is gunned down in front of him, Chili takes the man's widow Edie (Uma Thurman) under his wing, along with a sharp-tongued young singer named Linda Moon. Problem is, plenty of other people want a piece of her: a hot-tempered manager, a rap label that carries real guns, and the Russian crew Chili happens to owe money. Everybody's chasing the next big hit, and Chili has to glide between the studio, the shakedowns and his own easy charm.
