Engineer Renton wakes beside his estranged partner Hannah just as masked raiders break into the house. They kill him, and he opens his eyes again in the same bed, the same morning, everything reset. The cause is the ARQ, a generator he built to make clean power that has instead snagged the day in a loop. Each cycle teaches Renton a little more about who the intruders are and what they came for, while leaving him less sure whether Hannah is on his side at all.
