Satoru Fujinuma is a 29-year-old manga artist going nowhere, paying the bills with pizza deliveries. Then one rewind throws him not minutes but eighteen years into the past, into his own fifth-grade body, days before a classmate named Kayo Hinazuki vanished and was killed. To fix his present, Satoru has to crack that cold case from inside his childhood.
