Beerus is hunting a fighter from an old prophecy — the Super Saiyan God. Goku takes the fight without grasping that the whole planet is on the line. From there the story widens fast: parallel universes open up, new warriors step in, and old allies like Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo and Bulma get pulled back into battles for survival. Masako Nozawa voices Goku, just as she has for decades.

The show first retells the films Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F', then moves into fresh territory with the Tournament of Power across universes.
