Time Bandits

Time Bandits (1981) is Terry Gilliam's fantasy adventure that you can watch online on iFILM. Six dwarfs tumble out of a boy's bedroom closet and drag him through holes in the fabric of time. They didn't make history. They stole it.

Kevin is a history-mad kid stuck with dull parents. One night his closet bursts open and out spill former employees of the Supreme Being, clutching a stolen map that charts every gap in time. The crew leaps from era to era, looting treasure as they go. Along the way they bump into a tipsy Napoleon, King Agamemnon played by Sean Connery, and Robin Hood, played by John Cleese. Trouble is, the embodiment of Evil wants that map too.

Gilliam, fresh out of Monty Python, built a sly and tender fairy tale about childhood and greed. The cast includes Ian Holm, Michael Palin and David Warner, with Palin also co-writing the script. Stream Time Bandits (1981) online on iFILM.
