Room

Room (2015) is Lenny Abrahamson's drama you can watch online on iFILM. A young woman was abducted as a teenager and locked inside a cramped backyard shed. Seven years later she is raising a five-year-old son who believes those four walls are the entire world.

Joy (Brie Larson) builds a fragile routine out of captivity: invented games, a daily schedule, a story that nothing exists beyond the door and that the television only shows make-believe. Her son Jack (Jacob Tremblay) was born here and knows nothing else. Half the film unfolds through his eyes, where the sink, the wardrobe and the skylight feel like living companions. When Joy gambles on a desperate plan, both face a fear larger than the room itself: how to start living again in a place where the sky no longer fits inside one small window.
