Synopsis
Trading Mom (1994) is an American family fantasy-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Tia Brelis, the film follows the three Martin kids — Elizabeth, Jeremy, and Zach — who are convinced their hardworking mother is the worst mom imaginable and decide to do something about it.
A kindly neighbor whispers the secret: say the right spell and the Mommy Market opens its doors. The children wake up motherless and set off to pick a replacement. Sissy Spacek gets to play several very different candidates — a free-spirited charmer, a rule-obsessed disciplinarian, a cheerful circus performer — and she runs with every version. Anna Chlumsky leads the kids with the same scrappy energy she brought to My Girl around the same era, and the brothers Aaron and Asher Metchik make believable co-conspirators.
