BMF (2021) is a crime drama on Starz you can watch online on iFILM, drawn from the documented rise of brothers Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory and Terry "Southwest T" Flenory. Their story starts in the crumbling blocks of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s — two young men with ambitions too large for the street corners they grew up on.

Lil Meech plays his own father, Demetrius — a casting choice that gives the show an eerie undertow from the first episode. Da'Vinchi is Terry, and Russell Hornsby plays their father, a man watching his sons step onto a path he can't pull them off. By the early 2000s, what the brothers built had grown into a nationwide operation with a music-industry front, BMF Entertainment, that moved money through hip-hop circles across the country. Showrunner Sulvan Naim keeps the focus on what the family ties cost, not just what they enable.
