Taboo (2017) is a British historical thriller series you can watch online on iFILM. Tom Hardy stars as James Keziah Delaney, a man London long presumed dead. Back from a decade in Africa, he claims his late father's estate — and instantly becomes a target for the East India Company, the Crown, and every intelligence operative in the city.

Delaney is neither saviour nor villain. He arrives with fourteen stolen diamonds, a scarred body, and knowledge of rituals no English gentleman should possess. Jonathan Pryce plays the imperious company official who wants him gone; Steven Graham and Jessie Buckley anchor the supporting cast. The eight-episode first season unfolds as a slow, pressurised duel between one stubborn man and the entire machinery of empire.
