Every episode puts cars through tests that manufacturers would never sanction: supercars pushed flat-out across salt flats, budget hatchbacks dragged through Scottish highlands against a ferry, family saloons driven across frozen lakes in Scandinavia. The show travels to Namibia, Norway, the American South and anywhere else a camera crew and a questionable vehicle can reach. What keeps it going is not the cars — it is the friction between the hosts, the things that break at the worst possible moment, and the willingness to look genuinely ridiculous in pursuit of an answer nobody asked for.
