Synopsis
Superman: Unbound (2013) is a DC animated feature directed by James Tucker — watch it online on iFILM. Matt Bomer voices Superman, John Noble brings cold menace to Brainiac, Stana Katic is Lois Lane, and Molly C. Quinn plays Supergirl. The film adapts Geoff Johns's comic arc "Superman: Brainiac," sending the Man of Steel on a collision course with a machine intelligence that shrinks and collects entire cities.
Brainiac's prize exhibit is Kandor — the bottled capital of Krypton that Superman never knew survived. The confrontation is personal, and Supergirl, who has her own history with Brainiac, insists on coming along. Meanwhile Metropolis sits in the crosshairs, and Lois Lane refuses to play it safe as usual. At 75 minutes the film moves fast, hitting the action beats without stalling on setup.
