Nonnas

Nonnas (2025) is an American comedy directed by Steven Chbosky that you can watch online on iFILM. After losing his mother, Joe Felice bets everything on an unconventional idea: open an Italian restaurant in her memory and staff the kitchen with real nonnas — actual grandmothers who cook the way nobody else can.

Running the place turns out to be a disaster in the best possible way. Each nonna has her own recipes, her own stubbornness, and an absolute certainty that everyone else is doing it wrong. Vince Vaughn plays Joe holding the whole enterprise together by his fingernails, while Lorraine Bracco, Talia Shire, Susan Sarandon, and Brenda Vaccaro argue over whose gravy is the real thing. Drea de Matteo and Joe Manganiello round out the ensemble.

The story is inspired by Enoteca Maria, a genuine Staten Island restaurant where grandmothers from around the world take turns cooking their home countries' food.
