Synopsis
DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story (2004) is a sports comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Rawson Marshall Thurber built it around a run-down gym and a crew of guys who are good at almost nothing except being decent.
Peter La Fleur, played by Vince Vaughn, is about to lose Average Joe's, his beloved dump of a gym. Down the street, fitness tycoon White Goodman (Ben Stiller) is buying up everything in sight and wants the property. To stay afloat La Fleur needs fifty thousand dollars fast, so he drags his oddball regulars into a national dodgeball tournament in Las Vegas. A washed-up, half-deranged champ named Patches O'Houlihan whips them into shape. Christine Taylor, Justin Long and Alan Tudyk fill out the team.
The whole thing rides on Ben Stiller hamming it up as a spray-tanned villain and a parade of cameos, from Chuck Norris to David Hasselhoff and Lance Armstrong. Dumb, crude and weirdly charming, exactly as planned. Stream DodgeBall (2004) online on iFILM.
