Synopsis
Loves of a Blonde (Lásky jedné plavovlásky, 1965) is a Czech comedy-drama by Miloš Forman you can watch online on iFILM. Forman cast her from outside the professional film world, and it shows — in the best possible way.
A visiting band brings a piano player from Prague. Vladimír Pucholt plays Milda as charming and careless: happy to spend the night, not much interested in what comes after. For Andula, it means something. She packs her bag and turns up unannounced at his parents' apartment in the city. The scene that follows — two bewildered parents, a cramped kitchen, late at night — is quietly devastating. Forman shoots it all like a fly on the wall.
