Synopsis
The Idea of You (2024) is a romantic drama from Amazon MGM Studios you can watch online on iFILM. Director Michael Showalter adapted Robinne Lee's 2017 novel, casting Anne Hathaway as Solène and Nicholas Galitzine as Hayes Campbell — the lead singer of fictional boy band August Moon.
Solène is a forty-year-old LA gallery owner with a teenage daughter, Izzy. The two of them end up at Coachella after Solène's ex bails on the trip. She wanders into the wrong trailer, meets Hayes, and something starts. He's twenty-four, globally famous and used to getting what he wants. She's not. The gap in their ages is the least of their problems: his fanbase is everywhere, the press is relentless, and Izzy has opinions.
