Family Ties (1982–1989) is the NBC sitcom you can watch online on iFILM that launched Michael J. Fox into stardom. Created by Gary David Goldberg, the show follows the Keaton family through seven seasons of kitchen-table arguments about politics, money, and growing up.

Steven and Elyse Keaton are former 1960s idealists who somehow raised a son who idolizes Milton Friedman. Alex — played by Fox — hangs a Reagan poster above his bed and debates free markets with his tie-dye-wearing parents. His sister Mallory chases fashion and boyfriends, younger Jennifer keeps everyone grounded, and eventually little Andy arrives to shake things up again. The humor comes from real friction: two generations, opposite worldviews, one house.
