Isle of Dogs (2018) is Wes Anderson's stop-motion adventure you can watch online on iFILM. When a dog-flu outbreak hits the Japanese city of Megasaki, the mayor dumps every canine onto a trash-covered island offshore.

Twelve-year-old Atari Kobayashi steals a tiny propeller plane and crash-lands on the island alone, hunting for his lost guard dog, Spots. A scrappy pack of strays takes him in, led by a stray named Chief who would rather bite than trust. Together they trek across mountains of garbage while a conspiracy back in the city plots the end of dogs for good. The voice cast barks through Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum and Bob Balaban.

Anderson built every frame by hand, puppet by puppet, and the craft earned a Silver Bear at Berlin plus an Oscar nod. The deadpan jokes, the perfect symmetry, the love letter to Japanese cinema are all here, only now spun from felt and wire. Stream Isle of Dogs (2018) online on iFILM.
