Synopsis

Her editors stick Loretta on the lifestyle desk, yet she spots what detectives missed: the strangled victims scattered across the city share one signature. Teaming up with seasoned colleague Jean Cole, played by Carrie Coon, she breaks the story that gave the killer his name and pays for it with her career, her marriage and her own safety. When Albert DeSalvo is arrested, the harder question lingers: is he really the man.
