Synopsis
Rampage: Capital Punishment (2014) is the Canadian-German action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Uwe Boll returns with Brendan Fletcher as Bill Williamson for the sequel to the 2009 original — this time the target is a television studio and the weapon is live broadcast.
Bill doesn't want money. He wants airtime. He seizes a TV station, holds the staff hostage, and uses every camera in the building to force his political manifesto onto the screens of millions. His argument — that modern society is irreparably broken — comes out in long monologues delivered to anchors who have no choice but to listen. Lochlyn Munro and Matt Frewer co-star; Boll himself appears on screen. Outside, police and negotiators circle, increasingly aware they're not dealing with a conventional hostage-taker.
Shot on a lean budget, the film functions partly as provocation and partly as exploitation cinema — Boll has never been interested in the middle ground. It pairs with the first Rampage as a two-part portrait of a character the director treats as a symptom of something real. Watch Rampage: Capital Punishment (2014) online on iFILM.
