Synopsis
Unthinkable (2010) is a psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Gregor Jordan. A former US military operative has converted to Islam, planted three nuclear devices at undisclosed locations across America, and filmed himself explaining why. The government has 72 hours.
The interrogation takes place in a black-site facility. FBI agent Braddock — Carrie-Anne Moss — is there to keep things legal. Then there is the man called H, played by Samuel L. Jackson: no badge, no rank, no apparent limits. Michael Sheen plays the suspect, calm and cooperative up to a point. The film locks all three into a single space and forces the question of how far a civilised society will go when the alternative is unthinkable.
Director Gregor Jordan keeps the frame tight and the arguments concrete. Unthinkable bypassed wide theatrical release but built a steady following on home video — the kind of thriller that still starts arguments when the credits roll. Watch it online on iFILM.
