Evan has skills he never trained for and clear memories of places he's never been. Doctors call it schizophrenia, so he gets by on medication and odd jobs. A brawl with a drug dealer lands him in custody, and that's where a stranger walks in claiming they've known each other for ages, going back to the Second Punic War. From there Evan learns about the Infinites, people who carry the memory of every past life they've lived. One faction wants to protect him; another, led by Chiwetel Ejiofor, wants to end the cycle of reincarnation for good.
