Synopsis
Anna Nicole (2013) is a biographical drama directed by Mary Harron that you can watch online on iFILM. Agnes Bruckner plays Anna Nicole Smith — a Texas waitress and single mother who married oil billionaire J. Howard Marshall (Martin Landau), posed for Playboy, and became one of the most photographed women of the 1990s.
The film doesn't linger on the spectacle. Harron — the director behind American Psycho and I Shot Andy Warhol — tracks the machinery underneath: the legal battles over Marshall's estate after his death, the escalating dependence on pills and alcohol, the son who died of an overdose days before Anna Nicole herself. Virginia Madsen and Adam Goldberg round out the cast in supporting roles.
