Newness (2017) is a Drake Doremus romance you can watch online on iFILM. It is set in present-day Los Angeles, where dating runs on apps and people swipe through each other as casually as a phone feed.

Gabi and Martin match, spend a night together, and then the usual hookup script falls apart. They fall for each other, move in, start building a life. But the habit of endless options never quite leaves: when every new possibility sits one swipe away, staying faithful becomes daily work. The two agree to open the relationship up, and end up testing the very thing that drew them together.

Nicholas Hoult and Laia Costa play the couple, with Danny Huston and Pom Klementieff in support. Doremus, known for Like Crazy with Felicity Jones, again digs into love as something fragile, letting much of the dialogue come from improvisation on set.
