Synopsis
Femme (2023) is a British psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Sam H. Freeman and Ng Choon Ping. Jules (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett) is a London drag artist who shuts himself away after a brutal street attack, abandoning his career. Months pass. Then he spots one of his attackers at a gay sauna.
The man is Preston (George MacKay) — hard, closeted, and completely unaware that he's talking to the person he helped assault. Jules sees an opening. He begins to engineer a seduction that is really a trap, getting closer to Preston on his own turf and on his own terms. The plan is clean at the start. It gets messier. Freeman and Ng Choon Ping expanded their acclaimed 2021 short film into a feature without losing any of its tension — every scene carries a second meaning, and the ending refuses to wrap things up neatly.
