Coupling (2000) is a BBC Two sitcom you can watch online on iFILM. Steven Moffat — who would later relaunch Doctor Who — wrote all four seasons with the kind of sharp, unapologetic wit that makes every episode feel slightly too honest. The tagline said it plainly: "the naughty new comedy about nothing… but SEX!"

Six friends in their thirties keep trying to make relationships work and keep getting in their own way. Jack Davenport and Sarah Alexander play a new couple desperately hiding the fact they're together. Richard Coyle is Jeff — possibly the most socially disastrous man in British sitcom history. Gina Bellman matches him as his ex, who somehow manages to be even more chaotic. The conversations are fast, frank, and very funny.
