Synopsis
A Tale of Legendary Libido (가루지기, 2008) is a Korean fantasy comedy from Showbox you can watch online on iFILM. Director Shin Han-sol spins a two-hour folk tale about Byeon Gang-soe — a young man the universe blessed with strength, looks and kindness, then forgot the one thing that matters most.
Bong Tae-gyu plays the hapless hero opposite Kim Ye-won as the sharp-tongued Dal-gaeng. Oh Dal-su rounds out the ensemble as the scheming Gang-mok, and Youn Yuh-jung — the Oscar-winning veteran of Minari — appears as a scene-stealing old woman who knows more than she lets on. A wandering stranger hands Gang-soe the secret he has always craved. The cure turns out to be more dangerous than the ailment.
