Synopsis

Rintaro Okabe saved everyone he cared about, but time travel extracted its toll in silence. His memories are fading from the world line, and soon he will be gone entirely — except that Kurisu Makise still remembers him. She's a physicist, and that turns out to matter. With Mamoru Miyano and Asami Imai reprising their roles, the film shifts the weight of the story onto Kurisu: she has to solve the problem Okabe can no longer even perceive.
