Synopsis

Savage Dog (2017) is an American action film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Jesse Johnson sets the story in Indochina, 1959 — the gap between French withdrawal and American arrival, when the region was run by whoever had the most guns and the fewest scruples.

Martin Tillman, an Irish former boxing champion, is locked inside Den-Dhin-Chan Labor Camp, a prison run by four criminal men including Steiner, a European war criminal who got away clean after 1945. Wealthy clients pay to watch inmates fight in high-stakes tournaments. Tillman survives by winning. When he's finally due for release, the men in charge have no intention of letting him go — and when they take away the one thing that kept him from fighting back, he stops holding back.

Scott Adkins carries the film on his actual fighting ability, not stunt doubles, and the action sequences are built around that. Keith David narrates with the kind of voice that makes everything sound inevitable. For a genre film, Savage Dog is unusually direct — no filler, no redemption arc detours, just escalation to a conclusion that earns its body count. Stream Savage Dog (2017) online on iFILM.
