Synopsis
A Grand Day Out (1990) is Nick Park's claymation short you can watch online on iFILM. Wallace, a tinkering inventor with a fatal weakness for cheese, has run completely out. So he builds a rocket in the cellar.
The plan is gloriously daft. Everyone knows the moon is made of cheese, so why not pop up there for a slice? Wallace packs crackers and a flask, drags along his patient, silent dog Gromit, and blasts off. Once they land, the pair discover the moon already has a peculiar caretaker who is not pleased to see them. Peter Sallis voices Wallace.
