Synopsis
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water (2015) is a family animated adventure you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Paul Tibbitt and Mike Mitchell, it drags the residents of Bikini Bottom out of the ocean and onto dry land in our own world.
It all kicks off when the secret Krabby Patty formula vanishes. Bikini Bottom falls apart without it, and the culprit is Burger Beard (Antonio Banderas), a pirate whose magic book turns anything he writes into reality. To fix the mess, SpongeBob has to team up with his sworn enemy Plankton. Together with Patrick, Mr. Krabs and Squidward, they chase the recipe to the surface, where they trade their underwater forms for superhero ones. Voice work comes from Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke and Clancy Brown.
