Joy

Joy (2015) is David O. Russell's comedy-drama, and you can watch online on iFILM. It follows a divorced mother of two on Long Island who invents a self-wringing mop and turns it into a business empire. Jennifer Lawrence plays the woman everyone in her family leans on, until she decides to bet everything on one idea.

Joy's house is a circus: feuding parents, an ex-husband still living in the basement, kids underfoot, and a half-sister who undercuts her at every turn. The mop comes to her almost by accident, and then the real fight begins — with sloppy factories, with a patent shark, with the QVC shopping channel, and with relatives ready to drain her dry. Robert De Niro plays her hot-tempered father; Bradley Cooper is the network executive who gambles on her product.
