Synopsis

Stonewall (2015) is an American historical drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Roland Emmerich. On the night of June 28, 1969, police raided the Stonewall Inn on Christopher Street in Greenwich Village. What began as a routine shakedown of a gay bar ended in three nights of resistance — and the launch of the modern LGBTQ rights movement.

The story centers on a young man kicked out of his home in small-town Indiana who arrives in New York with nothing. Greenwich Village gives him his first real sense of belonging. Jeremy Irvine plays the lead, with Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Ron Perlman in supporting roles. The film tracks how personal survival and collective uprising can arrive at the same moment — at the same door.

At 129 minutes, it is not a quick sketch of history. It earns its turning points. Watch Stonewall (2015) online on iFILM.
