Wander Darkly

Wander Darkly (2020) is a drama from writer-director Tara Miele that you can watch online on iFILM. Adrienne and Matteo are new parents. Adrienne finds herself drifting through memories of their life together, revisiting fights, tender moments, and fractures she hadn't fully registered. The structure is deliberately unmoored: scenes from years ago appear next to the immediate aftermath of the accident, and the line between what happened and what Adrienne imagines keeps shifting. Sienna Miller carries most of this weight, with Diego Luna as Matteo — neither character is entirely sympathetic, which is exactly what makes their story work. Miele's writing doesn't let either of them off the hook.
