Synopsis

Lucy's mother, a poet, recently took her own life, leaving behind a cryptic diary entry about a father Lucy never knew. Between olive groves and long lunches with the villa's artists and houseguests, she goes looking for answers — and for the Italian boy who gave her a first kiss four years earlier. Jeremy Irons plays an ailing playwright counting his last weeks, while the guests circle each other with secrets of their own.
