Synopsis

Hamburger Hill (1987) is a raw war drama directed by John Irvin — watch it online on iFILM. May 1969, Vietnam. Fourteen soldiers from Bravo Company, 101st Airborne Division, are ordered to take Hill 937. Ten days. Seventy percent casualties. The men keep climbing.

The battle chewed through an entire company — that's how the hill got its name. Dylan McDermott, Steven Weber, Don Cheadle and Courtney B. Vance play the young grunts who scrambled up wet clay, carried their wounded back down, then climbed again. No grand speeches. No clean victories. Just mud, fire and the next few feet of ground.

Director Irvin shot on location without glorifying or condemning — a grunt's-eye account of one of the most costly assaults of the Vietnam War. Stream Hamburger Hill (1987) on iFILM.
