Synopsis

Wall Street bond trader Sherman McCoy (Tom Hanks) owns a five-story Park Avenue apartment and earns more in a week than most people see in a year. One wrong turn in the Bronx — his mistress (Melanie Griffith) at the wheel, a young Black man left injured on the road — and the whole structure collapses. A cynical tabloid reporter (Bruce Willis) and an ambitious district attorney (Morgan Freeman) both smell an opportunity and race to own the story.
