A View to a Kill

A microchip built to survive the pulse of a nuclear blast turns up in KGB hands, and Bond traces it to industrialist Max Zorin. Christopher Walken plays him as a smiling psychopath with a fortune and a grudge. Zorin wants to drown Silicon Valley: trigger a quake along the San Andreas fault and wipe out every rival in one flood. At his side stands May Day, played by Grace Jones, a bodyguard who matches Bond blow for blow. Tanya Roberts is Stacey Sutton, a state geologist pulled into the fight.

This was the fourteenth entry in the series, packed with a base jump off the Eiffel Tower, a chase through Paris rooftops and a showdown on the cables of the Golden Gate Bridge.
