Octopussy

Roger Moore plays Bond for the sixth time. The clues pull him to India and to Octopussy (Maud Adams), the elusive woman who runs a floating palace and a travelling circus troupe. The jewel smuggling hides a deadlier scheme: exiled Soviet general Orlov (Steven Berkoff) wants to set off a bomb on a US base and trigger war in Europe. Smooth Afghan prince Kamal Khan (Louis Jourdan) is his partner and Bond's chief obstacle. Along the way 007 pilots a tiny one-man jet, races a train, and defuses a warhead under the big top with seconds to spare.
