Synopsis
Casino Royale (2006) is Martin Campbell's spy thriller, available to watch online on iFILM. This is James Bond at the very start, freshly cleared to kill, with Daniel Craig taking on 007 for the first time.
The mission sends Bond to Montenegro and a poker table where the stakes run into millions. Across from him sits Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a banker to terrorists who weeps blood and hates to lose. Let him win and the money funds the next attack, so M (Judi Dench) orders Bond to beat him at his own game. Treasury agent Vesper Lynd (Eva Green) is sent to mind the stake money, and the trust building between them turns riskier than any gunfight.
