Sorry to Bother You

Sorry to Bother You (2018) is a sci-fi comedy satire you can watch online on iFILM. In a slightly warped version of Oakland, a broke young man named Cassius Green takes a dead-end telemarketing job just to keep a roof over his head.

He's failing at it until an older coworker lets him in on a trick: use your "white voice" on the customers. The sales pour in, the bosses notice, and Cassius gets bumped up to a strange inner circle of top callers. The higher he climbs, the uglier the secret holding it all up turns out to be. LaKeith Stanfield plays Cassius, with Tessa Thompson as his artist girlfriend, plus Terry Crews, Steven Yeun and Armie Hammer as the corporation's grinning CEO.
