Jabberwocky

Jabberwocky (1977) is Terry Gilliam's medieval comedy fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. Michael Palin plays Dennis Cooper, an earnest village simpleton who stumbles his way toward unlikely glory.

A monstrous creature called the Jabberwocky is tearing through the countryside. Knights keep dying. Dennis arrives in town with nothing but ambition and a crush on a girl who barely notices him. Through a chain of slapstick accidents he ends up at the king's court, where terrified noblemen argue about who should go hunt the beast. The tagline put it plainly: people were catching the plague just to get out of the job.
