Mechanic Barry had a family and a quiet life. One night, the dead started walking. His sister Brooke gets snatched by gas-masked soldiers and dragged to a deranged doctor's makeshift lab. Barry links up with fellow survivor Benny, bolts scrap metal onto whatever vehicle still runs, and pushes through the infected Australian bush to find her. These zombies have their own biology — slow at dawn, fast after dark — and the survivors figure out how to turn that against them.
