Synopsis

Coach Mal brings a London team of homeless players to Rome for the international tournament, and at the last minute adds Vinny to the squad. Vinny used to have real talent, but life knocked him sideways a long time ago, and football was the first thing to go. Mal needs wins. Vinny needs something harder to name — a reason to show up when the past keeps pulling him back. Valeria Golino and Susan Wokoma play key figures holding the whole fragile enterprise together.
