Synopsis
The Vow (2012) is a romance you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Michael Sucsy and starring Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. Newlyweds Paige and Leo have it all, until a snowy night sends their car into a truck.
Paige survives the crash but wakes with a hole in her memory. The last several years are gone. The wedding never happened, and the man holding her hand at the hospital is a stranger. In her mind she is still the buttoned-up law student engaged to someone else, with no idea she ever picked up a sculptor's chisel or moved to a loft in Chicago. Leo makes a choice: instead of arguing about a past she can't recall, he sets out to court his own wife from scratch. Her estranged father, played by Sam Neill, and her former fiancé Jeremy (Scott Speedman) keep pulling her back toward an older version of herself.
The story draws on the real marriage of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter. Sucsy keeps the focus tight on one stubborn question: can you earn the same person's love a second time?
