Synopsis
Hail, Caesar! (2016) is a comedy mystery from the Coen brothers you can watch online on iFILM. Set in 1950s Hollywood, it follows the man whose job is to keep a movie studio's secrets buried.
Eddie Mannix is a studio fixer: he smooths over scandals, pays off gossip columnists and drags stars out of trouble before the tabloids smell blood. His worst day arrives when Baird Whitlock, the lead of a lavish Roman epic, vanishes off the set and turns up held for ransom. Meanwhile Mannix juggles a pregnant aquatic-musical star, a singing cowboy shoved into a stuffy drama, and a pair of nosy twin columnists. The ensemble stacks up Josh Brolin, George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Tilda Swinton, Channing Tatum and Ralph Fiennes.
